Tom Holtz is the Founder and Board Chairman of Holtz Builders (HBI), providing strategic guidance and helping shape the company’s long-term vision and values.

With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Tom has led hundreds of projects ranging from hotels and waterparks to multi-family developments, renovations, and commercial buildings. A strong believer in giving back, he actively supports numerous community and nonprofit organizations through both financial contributions and volunteer service.

Raised on a family dairy farm in Rock Springs, Wisconsin, Tom learned the importance of hard work, family, and integrity—values that continue to guide him today. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his three adult children, cheering on the Badgers and Packers, and playing golf.

Dan is the Chief Executive Officer of Holtz Builders (HBI). He oversees all the activities of the company. Dan obtained a bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Business School and went on to earn an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where he earned the Graduate School Honors Award, while running a few businesses with his family. He started working at an early age and has a strong work ethic. Dan enjoys sharing his experiences and helping lead others to success.

Dan has owned businesses, worked in the State Capitol, and worked for a large, national construction and manufacturing company before joining HBI. He shares in the HBI values and appreciates the award-winning culture!

Dan and his wife Kathy, have 3 children, and they enjoy traveling, playing games, or attending concerts or the theatre. Dan’s personal interests include golf, motorcycles, and being involved in local charities like the Knights of Columbus.

Trina serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Holtz Companies, leading HR initiatives that support employee growth, engagement, and organizational success. She and her team focus on talent acquisition, employee relations, and aligning people strategies with business goals.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Trina is actively involved in her community, serving in leadership roles with local SHRM, the Boys & Girls Club, and Rotary. Growing up in schools across the country helped shape her love of meeting new people and building relationships.

Outside of work, Trina enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and her two adult children.

Mark is a Partner and President of the Midwest Division of Holtz Builders, Inc. He directs daily operations at the HBI headquarters in Wisconsin as well as oversees field, quality, and safety operations. 

Mark has over 20 years of hands-on construction experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology Management – Building Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. Mark started with HBI more than 20 years ago as a laborer and has since worked his way up to his current position. Mark still appreciates the tremendous amount of work that is required to complete a successful project. He takes pride while driving past these buildings with his family and pointing out what he helped build. 

When not working, you will find Mark spending time with his family, helping out on his parents’ farm, or watching the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers play.  He also likes to hunt and fish.

Mandy is a key member of the Holtz Builders leadership team, bringing extensive expertise in accounting and business administration to support financial excellence and strategic decision-making. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from University of Wisconsin–Platteville and an MBA from Edgewood College.

As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mandy has built a strong background in financial management, tax strategy, and audit procedures across industries ranging from family-owned businesses to publicly held corporations. Her experience helps ensure regulatory compliance while supporting long-term organizational growth.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and beloved pets. Her dedication to excellence, integrity, and lifelong learning reflects the values that help drive Holtz Builders’ continued success.
