International Angels is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between international residents and the local community and empowering residents to make a positive impact on those in need.  

Our International Angels program was created to be a practical outlet for our residents to not only serve in the community that they temporarily call “home,” but also for them to transform the local community, one act of service at a time.

During the summer of 2022, our IRH staff in Pigeon Forge recognized the compassion and desire to serve that drives what we do. In just a few months, our residents and staff raised over $9,000 in donations from vendors, donors, and partners to support 3 local families during the Holiday season. From grocery shopping to purchasing Christmas gifts for the entire family, our residents felt a deep sense of personal fulfillment in serving the community around them. International Angel, Shanika, from the Wisconsin Dells location, said it best: “The more you do for others, the more you do for yourself.” When you are far from home, serving families like your own seems to fill the homesick void.

In 2023, our International Angels program grew and expanded to both our Branson West and Wisconsin Dells locations. Throughout 2023, our International Angels raised over $30,000 to provide face-to-face community service and gift baskets to over 150 seniors across three communities. Holiday cheer was spread to all in attendance, our angels and seniors had gleaming smiles from ear to ear.

We are currently developing our first-ever International Angels Market inside the IRH Pigeon Forge facility. This market will supply drinks, snacks, and basic necessities for residents just steps away from their front door at affordable prices. All proceeds will go straight back into the International Angels fund to support future programs and events.
